About me

I was born in Macapá/AP, on April 6, 1998, and since I was little, I have always had an affinity with words. But, beyond that, what led me to journalism was the possibility of doing something else that I also love: listening to and retelling stories.

Communication has taken me down many paths and through them I have met incredible people, been to many places and, most importantly, shared experiences that have contributed greatly to my short but vast journey through the craft of weaving words.

I believe that courage and determination are my main characteristics as a professional. I have worked in several areas, such as radio, TV, production, press office and digital journalism.

Ever since I was little, I have always been passionate about animals, which led me to volunteer. In 2016, I discovered the NGO Gateiros Tucujús, which works to protect animals in the state of Amapá. Since then, I have been the secretary-director and also responsible for part of the communications department.

Journalism and love for animals were also one of my motivations in the construction of my Final Course Work (TCC), a longform that talks about the experiences of animal cause volunteers in the state of Amapá.

I am fascinated by travel diaries and documenting moments through photos and texts. This is undoubtedly one of my favorite hobbies. I enjoy experiencing all the different nuances of journalism and rediscovering myself in the profession every day.
